── 1 · what ficbound is ──────────

FicBound is a formatting tool that turns an EPUB you upload into a print-ready PDF book. It runs as a hosted web service operated by a French sole trader (micro-entreprise).

── 2 · your account ──────────────

You need an email + password to save projects and buy book credits. You may create one account per person. Multi-account patterns to bypass the free-book limit will be flagged and may result in account removal.

── 3 · personal use, no resale ───

Books generated with FicBound are for your personal use. Reselling a bound fanfiction is illegal and is not permitted under these terms. Selling copies of works you did not write also violates the underlying authors' copyright, whether or not you use FicBound to produce them.

If a fic you upload is not your own, you affirm that you have the author's permission to bind it, or that you respect their stated binding policy.

── 4 · book credits ──────────────

Every account gets 3 free book generations. Additional generations require credits, sold in packs (currently €4.99 for 15 books) via Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for tax purposes. Credits do not expire and are non-refundable except where required by law.

If a generation fails on our side, contact us at patterna.pro@gmail.com and we'll restore the spent credit.

── 5 · content you upload ────────

You retain all rights to what you upload. FicBound does not claim ownership of your EPUB files or the PDFs we generate for you. We store them in your account so you can re-download them, and we will delete them at your request.

We do not have a system for you to publicly share other people's fics through FicBound, and we don't intend to build one.

── 6 · what we don't guarantee ───

FicBound is provided as-is. We can't promise every EPUB will parse perfectly, every PDF will look ideal in every reader, or the site will always be available. If something breaks, tell us.

── 7 · account termination ───────

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms — most commonly, using the tool to build resale inventory or repeatedly gaming the free-book limit.

── 8 · changes to these terms ────

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and note the new date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.

── 9 · governing law ─────────────

These terms are governed by French law.
